Will Rone received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the George Washington University in 2010. He is currently a Ph.D. student with research interests in design and control of autonomous mobile robots.

Anil Kumar

Anil received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2010. He is currently a Ph.D. student and is working on the development of vision guided autonomous micro-robotic systems. His research interests are in robotics, computer vision, and biomedical signal/image analysis.

Hailin Ren

Hailin Ren received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanjing University of Science & Technology in 2013, and his M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University in 2014. He is currently a Ph.D. student with research interests in robotics.

Junghee Brielle Lee

Brielle received her B.S. degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology in December 2013. She worked as a Project Engineer in Product Development team for over a year. She is currently a Ph.D student with research interests in design and control of autonomous mobile robots and Exoskeletons.

Yujiong Liu

Yujiong Liu received his B.Eng degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tongji University in 2013, and his M.S. in Robotics from Harbin Institute of Technology. Eric Refour (ECE)

Eric was born in Atlanta, GA. He received his B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from Univ. of Georgia in 2014 and is currently pursuing his M.S. in the same field. His research interests includes working with embedded systems and integrating hardware and software for systems. He enjoys music, movies, and college football.

Prof. Choi received his Ph.D. degree from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea in 1995. He is a Professor in Pusan National University, Korea. He came to visit the Robotics and Mechatronics Lab as a Visiting Professor. His areas of research and academic interests are focused on Navigation, Guidance, and Control for Autonomous Vehicles. Dr. Arif Ankarali received his Ph.D. degree from Istanbul Technical University, Turkey in 1997. He is an Assistant Professor from Selcuk University, Turkey. His research was on ANFIS* Inverse Kinematics and Precise Trajectory Tracking of a Dual Arm Robot. (*Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System)

Dr. Getachew Befekadu (Visiting Research Scholar, Oct. 2009 - Jan. 2010)

Dr. Befekadu received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, in 2006 with emphasis in Applied Mathematics and Control System Engineering. His research was on decentralized control and optimization of interconnected systems with applications to multiple robots coordination.

Mr. Gustavo Ruiz arrived from the Polytechnic University of Chiapas in Mexico to GWU and completed a semester-long internship in RML. Mr. Ruiz holds a bachelors in Mechatronics Engineering. He worked with Prof. Ben-Tzvi on Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations for mechatronic systems.

Mike Zhuk (Senior Ungergraduate Intern, January - April 2010)

Mike Zhuk was an intern from the University of California, Irvine where he is a senior undergraduate student working towards his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
